Welcome to Pulse Fitness Studio (“Pulse,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation in classes, events, certifications, memberships, purchases, and use of our website and facilities.

By booking a class, attending an event, purchasing a membership, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Participation & Eligibility

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian sign a waiver if under 18.

  • By participating, you confirm that you are physically able to engage in fitness activities and understand the risks involved.

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that physical exercise, including but not limited to Pilates, barre, yoga, sculpt, hot classes, breathwork, infrared heat exposure, ice baths, and sauna use, involves inherent risks.

By attending Pulse classes or events, you:

  • Voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation

  • Accept responsibility for listening to your body and modifying as needed

  • Agree to stop if you experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or warning signs

Not Medical Advice

Pulse Fitness Studio does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • All instruction is educational and fitness-based

  • You should consult a physician before beginning any new exercise or wellness program

  • Any health information you voluntarily share is used solely to support safer class experiences

Pregnancy & Postpartum Disclaimer

While our instructors are trained in safe movement and modifications, you acknowledge that:

  • Pregnancy and postpartum participation is at your discretion

  • You are responsible for informing instructors of your status

  • Pulse is not liable for pregnancy- or postpartum-related complications

Class Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • Classes must be booked in advance through our scheduling system

  • Cancellations must be made at least [8] hours before class start time to avoid fees

  • No-shows and late cancellations may result in charges

  • Late arrivals may not be admitted once class begins for safety reasons

Memberships & Purchases

  • Memberships, class packs, and certifications are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

  • Pricing, schedules, and instructors are subject to change

  • Unused classes may expire according to the purchase agreement

Studio Etiquette & Conduct

Pulse is a respectful, inclusive space.

You agree to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow members with respect

  • Follow studio rules and instructor guidance

  • Avoid disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior

Pulse reserves the right to refuse service or remove participants for unsafe or disrespectful conduct.

Infrared Heat, Sauna & Cold Exposure Disclaimer

Participation in hot classes, infrared exposure, sauna sessions, or ice baths is voluntary.

You acknowledge:

  • Heat and cold exposure affect individuals differently

  • You are responsible for hydration and self-monitoring

  • You should not participate if feeling ill or unwell

Pulse is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from voluntary participation.

Personal Belongings

Pulse Fitness Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought into the studio.

Intellectual Property

All Pulse branding, class formats, training materials, certifications, and content are the intellectual property of Pulse Fitness Studio and may not be copied, distributed, or used without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Pennsylvania law:

  • Pulse Fitness Studio is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for services, if any

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pulse Fitness Studio, its owners, instructors, and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

Pulse Fitness Studio reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with venue in Washington County, PA.
